There's a lot that can be done with all these factions and character attributes that wouldn't be stat based like with the ghost speak ability. I really like how you can turn into a werewolf, I'd love to be able to turn people into pigmen or maybe even become a siren. Would be awesome to see more variants in how we fight and engage with them. Some of the 'harder' enemies just feel like bullet sponges. When encountering stillwaters, why not have an option to intimidate based on our reputation or boast about bounties we've killed? When coming across animals maybe we could throw some food giving us a chance to get away. I think that's because it removes a lot of what makes this game fun, choice. A lot of the writing is excellent, the stories in notes and mailboxes are great, lets see more put into the characters with quests.Įncounters are arguable the 'worst' part of this game, cool at first, but quickly tedious. This game has an amazing world and systems to create some really cool quests. The journeys are fine, but I'd much prefer to run around with a random character where I could choose/change between each characters 4 main abilities to create a custom 'load-out' Would like to command the companions, maybe give some a side-quest when they've travelled with us for a bit, could base it off reputation. More use out of the camp in general, could buy upgrades giving boosts or giving us access to the crafting and potion tables. There's a lot of items in this game that could have alternative uses. Would be cool if you had to go to or create a shrine to revive a companion, maybe you have to bury them, then create a shrine to revive them. Being able to revive companions with Nimp heads somehow To create a distraction at the cost of your currently equipped weapon, would be great if you could throw melee weapons at a chance to kill or knock out enemies by throwing.
